From March to October we organise outings to various gardens, nurseries and Member's gardens throughout Essex and pehaps into Suffolk. These usually entail a morning visit to a nursery/garden, pub lunch, visit another garden, followed by afternoon tea.Plant swaps in the Spring and Autumn at Member's houses.
All very laid back and most enjoyable.
We 'car-share' for these visits. Come and join us.

To round off the excellent day some Members visited the nearby Church which was destroyed by a bomb in 1943 & rebuilt in 1953.
On May 11th we visited 'Rosemary', East Bergholt for a conducted tour by the owner. This was as interesting as the garden was unique.
After lunch in one of the nearby public houses or a picnic we found our way to East Bergholt Place, a nursury run now by the Grandson of the gentleman who laid it out in the mid 1850s.Again, Jan had laid on a conducted tour of the many acres of unique plants, shrubs & trees.
